Focus and Scope

Footnotes: A Journal of History presents original primary research and historiographical papers from University of Arizona’s undergraduate and graduate students. Historians will find us a forum of publication for their research in a cross-variety of fields of inquiry. Students engage as both editors and authors. Footnotes highlights the importance of history and its applications in our ever-changing world.

 

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

 

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
