Abstract

Carbon-14 dates were reported for three geologic samples: dire wolf bones from Powder Mill cave, Missouri; dune peat from Lane County, Oregon; and bone fragments from jaw of Nototherium sp. from Boolcunda Creek, South Australia. Archeologic samples dated were mostly charcoal from Alabama, Florida, Missouri, Montana (buffalo bones), NewMexico, and Hawaii Volcanos National Park for the United States and from Guatemala, Peru, Africa, and Australia.
